For the first time in almost 30 years, DNR is taking a Coastal Plain-wide look at nesting colonies of wading birds. And the public’s help is not only welcomed, it’s needed.

Eagle Nesting Strong, Coast Rebounds From Bird Flu

Bald eagle surveys in Georgia revealed the iconic raptors nesting and fledging young at healthy rates this year, including in coastal areas where avian influenza hammered eagles last spring.
